This December, we had the joy of transforming Chester Racecourse into a vibrant, nostalgia-filled wonderland for the GBG Group’s Christmas celebration. Our team brought together playful styling, retro-inspired décor, and festive entertainment to create a night that was as magical as it was memorable.

Nostalgia-Inspired Centrepieces

Each table was dressed with bespoke centrepieces designed to spark childhood memories and festive cheer. Think pops of colour, whimsical details, and a touch of retro charm that instantly transported guests back to the Christmases of their youth.

Candy Cart Delight

No nostalgia party is complete without sweet treats! Our candy cart was brimming with colourful classics, offering guests a chance to indulge in their favourite retro sweets. It became a lively hub throughout the evening, adding both flavour and fun to the celebration.

Colourful Chair Styling

To tie the theme together, we styled the chairs with vibrant, playful colours that echoed the joy of festive gatherings gone by. The rainbow effect added energy to the room and set the tone for a night of laughter and celebration.

Light-Up GBG Letters & Balloons

A show-stopping feature of the evening was the illuminated GBG letters, surrounded by a cascade of balloons. This installation not only celebrated the company’s identity but also created the perfect photo backdrop for guests to capture their memories.

Photobooth Fun

Speaking of photos, our nostalgia-themed photobooth was a huge hit! Guests embraced the props and playful atmosphere, leaving with keepsakes that perfectly captured the spirit of the night.

Band & DJ Entertainment

To keep the energy flowing, we organised a live band followed by a DJ set. The combination of live music and dance-floor classics ensured the party carried on late into the night, with guests singing, dancing, and celebrating together.
